Rigshospitalet’s Department for Spinal Cord Injury has taken a step towards sustainability by implementing the BioEraser® system for its water treatment processes. The hospital’s decision to minimize its use of chemicals and address lime-related issues in its water treatment processes is a welcome move towards environmentally-friendly practices.
The BioEraser® system is an innovative solution that helps to eliminate the need for chemicals in the water treatment, prevent limescale buildup, and eliminate harmful bacteria in water systems. By eliminating the need for chemicals, the BioEraser® system helps to minimize the environmental impact of water treatment processes. The system also reduces maintenance costs and extends the life of components in the water circuit.
The initial installation in collaboration with another company proved to be faulty and not working. And as a result, the defective system was replaced with BIOSTATIQ’s own solution: an updated STATICON 1.5 combined with an improved BioEraser® system.
The new BioEraser® is an innovative solution that effectively eliminates the need for chemicals, prevents lime deposits, and reduces harmful bacteria in the water. By replacing the inadequate system with STATICON 1.5 and the enhanced BioEraser®, Rigshospitalet now enjoys a more efficient water treatment process, lower maintenance costs, and a longer lifespan for the water circuit components.
Rigshospitalet’s Department for Spinal Cord Injury’s decision to implement the BioEraser® is a testament to the hospital’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency. The BioEraser® provides an effective solution for addressing water quality issues without having a negative impact on the environment and climate. With the BioEraser® in place, Hornbæk Hospital can achieve a greener profile and impact expenses used in relation to water treatment, maintenance, and service.
At Rigshospitalet’s Department for Spinal Cord Injury, the BioEraser® is expected to bring positive improvements in the water treatment process, leading to a better work environment, reduced maintenance costs, and extended life of components in the water circuit. The hospital’s decision to implement the BioEraser® system is a step towards a more sustainable future.
As a company that supports sustainable practices, we are proud to have assisted Rigshospitalet in implementing the BioEraser®. We hope that more organizations will follow in Rigshospitalet’s Department for Spinal Cord Injury footsteps and implement environmentally-friendly solutions for their water treatment processes.
Rigshospitalet Center for Spinal Cord Injuries improved water quality and decreased bacterial count with the BioEraser system. The system also provided savings on cleaning and maintenance and reduced chemical use in wastewater.
Technical Operations Manager, Michael Madsen, praised the system for its ability to create a better work environment and protect patients.”
